Yes, please use a dryer and do not air dry. Getting the water completely out of the underwear ensures it lasts longer. DO NOT use dryer sheets or fabric softeners as they will clog the filtering properties of the Carbon Fiber material.

Your Shreddies do have a life span. Sorry all good things do come to an end at some point. Eventually the Carbon Fiber will get particles embedded and become less effective. Depending on how often you use them will determine their life span.

It’s very important that you follow the instructions for use. Check out our Need to Know page to learn all about proper fit and use. Shreddies must fit tightly around the area where gas emits. If gas escapes the area because the Shreddies are not fitted correctly, then it won’t travel through the filter. You should be sitting down for best results, with legs pressed tight so the air is forced through the filter.
